Fixing Juggling Balls

I have had a set of purple juggling balls for a while now. I don't think they are the highest quality but they are the ones I learned with. Sometime in the past couple of months one of them has had one of its seems start to loosen. Once it got to the point where my balls started to leak seeds everywhere I knew I had to attempt a fix.

The idea I had to fix it was to just sew it back up. No clue if there is a proper technique to use here, so I just tried it.

The good news is that it seemed to work pretty well and the balls were usable again. It has been a couple of weeks the ball looks about as good as when I fixed it.

I don't have a strong conclusion for what the proper fix is or whether what I did will hold up. The moral is probably that if you have a leaky juggling ball you should just try sewing it or something.
